Residential Treatment Center

Hennepin County Youth Stabilization Center is a new service for youth with complex behavioral needs who are boarding in hospitals, detention centers, or other settings with a need for stabilization. With 13 beds, our goal is to provide stabilization for youth who are returning back to their community or are waiting for appropriate long-term solutions.

Metro Residential is the academic partner of the program, following the Minneapolis Public Schools calendar and providing core content and a daily specialist rotation. 

All students receive grade level core curricula instruction, differentiated to meet their individual needs.  Additionally, students receive supplemental instruction to enhance their current academic skills.  Our teachers utlize Minneapolis Public School curriculum and focused instruction guides as part of their daily instruction.  Our students have access to a blended learning model, which adds additional online learning opportunities.
