Metro Hospital Agency Programs
Our k-12 students are on a shortened school day with an emphasis on Reading/Literacy/English Language Arts, Math, Social Studies and Science. K-8 students participate in one classroom, while our 9-12 students rotate between three, 42 minute periods. School work is individualized according to student needs. Our students spend the rest of their day in group and individual therapy provided by the hospital agency. Our classroom are staffed by one Minnesota State Licensed teacher, who is dually licensed in regular and special education. Hospital staff are available for additional support when needed.
K-12 students receive one hour a day of educational services, in a one to one, student to teacher delivery model. Schoolwork is individualized to student needs and is provided by one Minnesota State Licensed teacher, who is dually licensed in regular and special education.
